Sophie Derbyshire and Saskia Learmonth are our two newest students to join the Sports Hall of Fame for New Zealand Representatives.

Columba College now boasts an impressive eleven New Zealand Representatives across seven different sports. These students range in age from Year 7 through to Year 13. It is a huge achievement from such a small school, which also has a large number of South Island and Otago representatives.

With the aim of building excellence, our students are taught to inspire, strive and excel in all areas of their lives, this requires mental toughness, physical strength and overall talent. It is all about balance when it comes to being a top athlete. We aim to ensure our students are not only elite on the field but off the field too, which means eating right, sleeping well, recovering properly and understanding attitude is everything.
