Our Year 4-8 Students competed strongly at the Otago Athletics Championships on Thursday 21 November.

Many Columba Students placing in the top three of their event.  Some notable results;

Harlow La Hood 1st in Girls U10 60m Sprint and Long Jump.   

Alexa Duff placed 1st in U13 Girls Shot Put and Discus. 

Ciara Paterson placed 1st in the Girls U12 Shot Put.   

Pip Eason placed 2nd in Girls 13 & Over Long Jump and Hurdles.   

Caitlin Butson placed 3rd in the Girls 13 & over Long Jump, Hurdles and 100m Sprint.  

Madison Flutey placed 2nd in the Under 13 Girls 75m Sprints.  

Kayla Smith 2nd in the Girls 13 & Over High Jump and 

Anya Rhodes placed 2nd in the Year 7&8 800m race.  

In the Relays, our 13 & over team came 1st, the team consisted of Pip Eason, Kayla Smith, Anya Rhodes and Caitlin Butson.  Our U13 team placed third, Charli Sinclair, Zara Pratley, Rhiarna Webster and Madison Flutey.
