80 teams from our Middle School competed in the ODT Extra! Tāpiri Current Event Quiz this week.

All of our Year 7, 8, 9 and 10 students competed in this online quiz for the second year with both New Zealand and world geography, history, sport, current event and cartoon analysis sections.

The team of Enya He-Ren, Emma Baskerville and Allena Zhou were the top Dunedin Year 7 & 8 team, and finished 9th overall out of a staggering 502 teams!

We also had some fantastic performances in the Year 9 and 10 section, with several teams coming in just outside the top 10 out of over 250 teams.

Fact:  The Auckland Islands are nowhere near Auckland!  Great fun and learning all round for our Middle School students and we are looking forward to the 2023 quiz!
