The Year 6 class have been focusing on the importance of Anzac Day.

The class have been reading a range of stories and learning about the courage and camaraderie shown by the ANZAC soldiers. We wrote poems and created artwork illustrating these themes. As part of our learning, we have been reading about life in the trenches during World War 1. We created trenches in our classroom and spent time sitting in them writing wartime diary entries and letters to home.
