Year 3 have been learning how to draw algorithmic doodles to represent nature.

Here are some of their doodle draws to represent trees. Their algorithms are recursive which means they describe one step and then you just draw the next step in the same way, following the algorithm from the start. They have also learnt that no two trees are the same just as in nature as each individual randomly chooses the placement and length of lines.
