Art Exhibition : Art Made in Lockdown

The Art department and Arts prefects invite you to contribute artwork which you have made in 'isolation' at home.

Where

Art exhibition area in the foyer of Braemar.

Who

This is a participatory exhibition in which ALL students from the Junior, Middle and Senior School are invited to contribute work in any media which you have made at home during the Covid-19 isolation. The artwork does not need to be Covid-19 related but can be.

Media

  • Photography (must be submitted as a hard-copy A4 or smaller)
  • 3D sculpture (or a photograph of the sculpture)
  • Drawing
  • Painting
  • Digital art-work (can be sent to Ms Dixon at sdixon@columbacollege.school.nz)

Submissions

All submissions one entry per student must have the following details securely attached or written on the back of the artwork:

  • Name
  • Year level
  • Form or Class Teacher's name
  • Title of artwork

A box will be provided (in the exhibition area of Braemar) for you to leave your art work, just outside the Braemar art room, or you can give these to your Junior/Middle School teacher.

The Arts prefects and the Art department will display the work in the foyer and also give out some spot prizes, for each category.

Entries accepted from Wednesday 20 May. 

All artwork will be returned after the exhibition is over.
