Success on the Ice for the Sime Sisters!

Mrs G Beardmore —

The New Zealand Ice Figure Skating National Championships were held recently in Dunedin, and Columba College is extremely proud to highlight the achievements of two talented sisters and students of Columba, Hannah and Rebekah Sime.

New Zealand Figure Skating Championships were held at the Dunedin Ice Stadium recently, with competition beginning on Saturday 24th November. The championships attracted nearly 120 competitors, and ran across a couple of days.

Super ice skating sisters Rebekah and Hannah Sime both performed extremely well, and their performance on the ice was a real credit to their dedication and commitment to the sport of Figure Skating. The hours of training and fitness required to perform at a consistently high level is immense, and we are incredibly proud of both Rebekah and Hannah and the results they have achieved.
