On Friday senior French students were under pressure to create fantastic creations on (mostly) classic French desserts.

Here are the categories and the winners:

Year 11 winners:

Allegra Husband Watts : crêpes suzettes - overall winner!
Olivia Parks: mousse au chocolat
Melissa Van Der Haegen  : mugcake choco beurre cacahuète

Year 12 and 13 winners:

Samantha Newstead: Pets de Nonne - Nuns farts - Overall winner as she was the only one to succeed in this recipe!

Echo Li : crêpes banane choco
Hanin Taha mousse au chocolat à la framboise
Gemma O'Donnell mugcake choco à la Nadia Lim

Special Mention: Olivia with her beautifully presented chocolate mudcake which I cannot post as the file doesn't work.

The girls were to follow the recipes written in French but as you can see they liked to put their own spin on them. Presentation was a key factor in the judging but we enjoyed hearing about how they tasted.
