Recently four Y8 students’ works were chosen as winners in the EXTRA Writing Competition.

Year 7 & 8 Poetry Winner: Melah McConnachie – “Waiting at the Ready” receives a medal, a voucher and a goody bag.

Year 7 & 8 Short Story Winner: Monet Morrison – “Taken” also receives a medal, a voucher and a goody bag.

Year 7 & 8 Short Story - Placed: Clara Ballantyne – “No Looking Back” and receives a voucher with a goody bag.

Year & & 8 Short Story- Highly Commended: Ripeka Potiki – “E Mā” and receives a goody bag.
