In Week One of Term 4 we have our Practice Examinations. The timetable has now been released to students and is attached.

Our Practice Examination week will be taking place for the duration of Week One, Term 4.  Below is some key information below that students need to ensure they are aware of:

• Morning Examinations start at 9:00am and conclude at 12pm. Students are expected to be ready to enter the designated venues at 8:45am.
• Afternoon Examinations start at 1:30pm and conclude at 4:30pm. Students are expected to be ready to enter the designated venues at 1:15pm.
• NZQA examination conditions will apply to all examination slots. You are permitted to leave after 45 minutes. If you do so, your exit time will be recorded on your paper. You are not permitted to leave the examination in the last 30 minutes. All equipment being bought into the examination must be in a transparent bag. Clear drink bottles only are permitted.
• You are required to wear your school uniform to your examinations.
• All Year 11-13 students are granted Study Leave for periods outside of examination slots.
• If you have SAC - Special Assessment Condition, you need to check in with Ms Dixon in the Hall at least 15 minutes prior to the examination start time.
• If you have a clash on your timetable, it is likely that arrangements have been made for you but you will need to get in touch with Mrs Piebenga to ensure these are in hand.
• If you are unable to sit these examinations at the designated times then you will need to provide appropriate documentation e.g. a medical certificate. Any absence must be called into the Office as early as possible.
• The grades you achieve in these examinations will be used as your Derived Grades should the final NZQA examinations be unable to take place or you are unable to sit your final examinations.
• Please note that if you have a class at JMC you will sit your practice examination at JMC. Afternoon examinations at JMC start at 1pm unlike those at Columba which start at 1:30pm.
