Last week the Senior A volleyball team travelled to Palmerston North to compete in the national competition.

The first few games were tough. However as the week progressed we started to be more competitive and win some of our games. We had a close 2-1 loss to Western Heights and also to Cambridge High School. On the second last day we had two 2-0 wins against Whitby Collegiate and Rangiora High School. Winning these two games definitely lifted our spirits as we headed into the last day of the tournament. Overall we made the top 45 out of 110 girls schools in New Zealand.
