The Year 5 class enjoyed visiting the Dunedin Art Gallery where they enjoyed the practical art session painting octopus, squid and sea creatures. They were shown interesting techniques to use to make their paintings bold and vibrant.
They were taken around the Art Gallery to look closely at art works identifying special features of several pieces on display. The two hours went very quickly with excellent results achieved which are now on display in the classroom.
