Winter Uniform Notice

Administration —

As you prepare for the winter term please be reminded of the following uniform guidelines for Terms II and III.

Long-sleeved blouses - All students are required to wear long-sleeved blouses in Terms II and III.

Regulation black leather lace-up shoes - Please check your child’s shoes are in good, tidy order. Slip-ons, black gym shoes or ankle boot styles are not permitted.

Long-sleeved V-neck navy blue jersey - This is the regulation garment – the vest is optional. If the jersey is worn it must be under the blazer outside of school grounds.

Black Watch scarves - can be purchased from the Scottish Shop.

Winter Kilts - These are compulsory in Terms II and III. Summer kilts are not to be worn.

Regulation Panty Hose (Terms II and III) - The Years 7 to 13 students wear regulation navy blue panty hose with their winter uniform. Years 7 and 8 students may wear either knee-length navy blue woollen socks or the navy blue panty hose. 

All girls are required to wear the regulation panty hose selected for its quality and warmth. It is: Columbine Opaques 70 Denier, colour “Ink”. Sizes: Small / Average / Tall / Ex-Tall. These are available for purchase through the School Office for $14.00 a pair.

Underwear/polypro undergarments - These are to be in a colour that doesn’t show through under the blouse.

Regulation winter jacket - the office has a full set of jackets for students to try on. Once we have reopened, you are welcome to come in and try them for size. Please see the attached order form below.

Repairs - Please could torn pockets, missing buttons, and hems be attended to.

Street Uniform - The blazer is worn buttoned-up on the street and in public. There is no eating or drinking on the street and in public in school uniform.The top shirt button is worn done up at school, and on the street and in public.

Naming of items - Please check that all your child's clothing and  possessions are named.

Attention to these uniform and appearance matters would be very much appreciated. We have a very attractive school and sports uniform and enjoy seeing the students wearing it correctly and with pride.
