GirlBoss Edge, here we come!

Ms K Riepl —

A number of senior students have been successful in getting on to the GirlBoss Edge: Leadership Accelerator Course 2020

GirlBoss Edge: Leadership Accelerator Course 2020 is an online programme that includes participants from all around New Zealand. It is a 10 day event this July holiday funded by the Ministry of Education and is designed to inspire passionate young females around the country on matters that they are interested in and prepare them to be industry leaders. As well as Lara and Hanin, Year 12 students who have been accepted on the programme are Gemma O'Donnell, Lily Murdoch, Alannah Kys, and Millie O'Neill.

The programme includes many amazing opportunities such as live group sessions with industry leaders, 1:1 mentoring sessions with people already in the industry, and a justice challenge. There are also online modules to practise networking, personal branding and interviewing skills. Upon completion and graduation from this programme, the students will each get the opportunity to serve as an Ambassador for GirlBoss New Zealand and the GirlBoss Edge programme in the future.

They are really looking forward to the programme.
