A little bit about the show...
Troy Bolton and Gabriella Montez come from two different worlds: Troy the Basketball Captain and Gabriella the smart, shy beauty. They meet on New Year's Eve and instantly click. When they rekindle at East High School, the pair decide to audition for the Winter Musical. Chad Danforth and Taylor Mckessie, the leaders of the social cliques Troy and Gabriella belong to don't approve of this budding ‘friendship’ and begin to plot against them. Meanwhile, drama queen Sharpay Evans and her sidekick brother Ryan, the co-captains of the Drama club, try in every way to prevent Troy and Gabriella from beating them in the call-backs. Watch as Troy and Gabriella learn to juggle the social expectations placed upon them while simultaneously learning the importance of following their other passions.
