Are you struggling to find something for your teens to do at Easter time? Have you ever been to or heard about Easter Camp? Let me recommend them to you as a parent who has had four teens. There are a variety of amazing Easter Camps available for Dunedin youth, both here in Otago and in Christchurch.

My own teens say that the Christchurch Easter camp is definitely a highlight of their year. Over 3000 youth stay at a large camp site at Spencer Park where they present the Christian message in a relevant and really over-the-top fun way for youth from ages 13-18 years. The worship is amazing and they have activities in a Big Top tent, like jelly wrestling, fair rides and all the old favourites like water slides. They even have a mosh pit!!

For some of the camps you need to attend with a youth group but if your teen doesn’t belong to one then please get in touch asap (kpark@columbacollege.school.nz) as we have connections with multiple youth groups, and if there is enough interest, we will take a Columba crew.
