Please see information regarding buses in Level 2.

A message from Orbus:

Dear Passengers

We know many students need to catch the bus back to school from Monday, but we simply cannot move the same amount of passengers as before COVID-19. This is due to distancing measures required by the government - we need to keep passengers and drivers safe during this pandemic – while still operating our usual fleet. We simply do not have a lot of spare buses available.

Please, if you have other means of getting to school or getting your kids to school, use them. If you can travel off-peak to work, please do so to ease pressure on the morning and afternoon school demand.

If you know someone whose child catches an Orbus bus to get to school, tag them here so they see the latest information, and keep up to date.

Please know that our public transport team is working with the Ministry of Education, Waka Kotahi New Zealand Transport Agency and schools to try and assist with demand.

We know this is difficult and want to thank and recognise the work everyone is doing to Unite against COVID-19.

All students who travel to/from school via bus (including on a casual basis) need to email Mrs Hope in the office advising which bus route they use to enable us to keep a central register.
