Closed-In Challenges

Miss Turnbull —

Seeing as we are all safe and sound locked in our own homes we have decided we will do little weekly challenges along the way to provide some entertainment and fun during these next few weeks.

The idea is to jump on board at your own house with your family members or whoever you may be isolating with. Be creative, try new inventions and enjoy something a little bit different, all while combating your boredom levels.

Challenge #1 - Toilet Paper Keep Ups

This first week we had an whole lot of cool entries of students testing out what skills they could so to keep a roll of toilet paper off the group or scoring a goal in some form of bucket. Plenty of individual talent was on display along with many sibling/family teamwork portrayed adding to the enjoyment.

Winner of Challenge #1 = Hannah Cormack - for a crazy demonstration of what some would describe as luck but we call pure class. In case you missed it check out all the videos along with Hannah's attempt below, she would be the only person to pull something off that insane. Well done Han!!

Challenge #2 - Trick Shot Tuesday

Set this Tuesday just been we will keep the competition open until next Tuesday. So far we have had some very inventive attempts using a basketball, toast, spoons, ping-pong balls and huge towering heights. Don't be shy - send your challenge to Miss Turnbull via email or Instagram and stay tuned to see many more trick shots, awaiting the winner in next weeks newsletter!

I hope everybody is staying safe at home and doing their part to keep New Zealand safe!
