Congratulations to Emily Prout on her selection for the Rotary Science and Technology Forum to be held at the University of Auckland from 10 – 23 January 2021.

There was a very strong field of applicants, which makes Emily’s selection all the more commendable. 

 The programme offers a mix of the traditional and the “unexpected.” In addition to Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Applied Mathematics and Psychology, participants also have workshops on subjects such as 3D printing/CAD, Structural Biology, Food Science, Nutrition, Microbiology and Robotics. 

There are also various recreational and sporting activities and the programme also aims to offer participants a “feel for what going to Uni is all about.”
