The move to Level 4 Lockdown was so fast this time that something was certain to be left behind...

When Maia Robertson first emailed Ms Hope about the fish in Sci 2, we weren't sure that anyone could enter the school under Level 4 restrictions. Luckily, the Ministry of Education has now said that Senior Leadership may enter the school to care for animals and plants left unattended as long as PPE is worn and strict social distancing is maintained.

So - today I entered a deserted Braemar and rescued the two goldfish who live in Sci 2. Mr Duckett gave me very helpful instructions about how to transport the tank but even once I'd siphoned off a third of the water, it was still the heaviest thing I've ever lifted! After a very careful drive home, the fish are now happily swimming around on top of my credenza, blissfully unaware of either the pandemic or Lockdown!
