The first group of Life skills students have finished their projects.

They have learnt to hem, tack, sew ladder stitch and use a sewing machine. They have sewn on different kinds of buttons and domes.

The item they made is meant to be used to store their Columba memorabilia – ties, bookmarks and badges. In the end every girl, despite some original reservations, completed a project that looks really good. I am proud of their efforts and hope that they will remember some of the skills we worked on in the future.
