Impressive Results in Regional Surf Lifesaving Champs
Columba College was well represented in the recent regional Surf Lifesaving Championships, and our athletes achieved some impressive results overall.
Over the past two weekends, some of our Junior and Senior Surf Lifesavers competed in the regional Surf Lifesaving Championships in Christchurch and Dunedin.
The Junior champs were held in Christchurch and despite absolutely abysmal conditions (with day two being cancelled and water events on the Saturday being changed), Amelia Loudon still managed to achieve some brilliant results. Her efforts resulted in two Silver medals, and Columba College is extremely proud of Amelia.
The Senior Regional Champs were held in Dunedin and Madi Loudon, Emily Prout, Grace Creighton and Mia Stout all competed. The girls achieved some amazing results, and some of their achievements are listed below.
