Yes it is that time of the year ... running season and a chance to hold our Columba College Annual Cross Country events throughout all year levels of the school. These are scheduled to take place at Bishopscourt in week one of next term.

Thursday 23 July:  (Postponement = Thursday 30 July)

PRIMARY School:
11.00am - Walk down to Bishops Court
11.30am - Year 4 Race
11.45am - Year 5 Race
12.00pm - Year 6 Race
12.20pm - Walk back to school in time for lunch.

MIDDLE/SENIOR School:
1.00pm - Roll Call in P5 Class
1.10pm - Walk down to Bishops Court
1.30pm - Chant Off
1.45pm - Year 7/8 Race
2.00pm - Year 9/10 Race
2.20pm - Year 11/12/13 Race
2.45pm - Prize-Giving
3.00pm - Walk back to school in time for 3.15pm departure.

This annual event has a huge element of fun and participation. Whether you are a competitive runner or you just want to jog with your friends, there are house points up for grabs as well as spot prizes and place-getter awards. Key focus is to enjoy yourself, dress up and take part.

Students are to come to school in full school uniform, and at the conclusion of period 4, lunch will be eaten and then students will get changed for a 1pm roll call and walk down to Bishopscourt.

NB: If we need to use our postponement date the Primary school event times will be modified to take place in the morning before interval due to parent teacher interviews in the afternoon. Therefore it will be; 

9.00am - Walk down to Bishopscourt
9.30am - Year 4 Race
9.45am - Year 5 Race
10.00am - Year 6 Race
10.20am - Walk back to school in time for lunch.
