Uniform Update

Administration —

The closure of H&J Smith, our uniform provider, necessitated a change to the Uniform Group. Delays in uniform supply have been causing a problem for more than just our school.

Everyone is doing his or her best to keep up with demand. However, with delays in shipping, supplies have not always been making it to the Uniform shop on time.

We fully appreciate that not all students will have all of their uniform immediately. This should not be a cause of undue stress. Uniform passes will be provided if students simply come to the office. Please note: there is no shortage of white ankle socks in local retailers. White footlets/trainer socks are not Columba uniform.

However, the uniform that is worn, should be worn with pride. We remind every student that after the holiday break they need to remove nail polish and that makeup and earrings are not part of the school uniform. All students should have neat, tidy, natural-coloured hair. If hair extends past the top of the collar, it should be tied back with plain hair ties matching the hair colour or a black-watch tartan ribbon or scrunchie.

Further to this, we ask that all students ensure their uniform is in good order: polished shoes, neat hems and secure buttons. Frayed or holey items should be repaired until they can be replaced.
