Columba College's collective of writers and directors: Tessa, Keren and Raheli were awarded the following for their devised poem Shipwrecked.

  • Excellence in Overall Design
  • Excellence in Ensemble Playing

McGlashan had one senior drama group led by Zoe. McGlashan was awarded:

  • Excellence in Acting - Eli
  • Excellence in Acting - Leila
  • Distinction Award for the Production of Drama - (script written & directed by Zoe)

John McGlashan was also chosen to proceed to the next stage of the competition (Lower Southland Island Theatrefest) at Allen Hall Theatre at the University of Otago.

Zoe, in Ms Fridd's Year 13 class, wrote the script for her piece in the Yr12 class as part of the scriptwriting standard in 2022. It is very exciting for her to get it on stage as part of this national theatre festival and competition. Ka pai, Zoe!
