Last Friday, the Columba College Hip Hop crew known as 'Six Feet Under' took to the stage at the NZCAF Otago Southland Regional Competition at the Town Hall.

After months of rehearsal, we were able to perform our two-minute routine onstage, which involved a range of different styles from voguing to stepping. All of us agreed that the long hours put into rehearsal had not gone to waste and we were ecstatic with the quality of our performance. During the intermission, we were informed that we had qualified for the final round of the competition. This was an amazing feeling for us and, to celebrate, we quickly ran across the street to Night’n’Day for a well-deserved but not so nutritious snack break. After dancing in the final round, we proceeded to the prize-giving portion of the night. We came a respectable 4th and secured a place at Nationals, which will be held in Queenstown later in the year!
