We are delighted that experienced counsellor Ms Megan Turnbull has been able to join us at Columba. She introduces herself below.

Hello! I am very pleased to have been given the opportunity to work as one of the Guidance Counsellors at Columba every Wednesday. My background is in social work and gestalt psychotherapy. I have worked at the Child and Family Mental Health Service here in Dunedin and at the Counselling Service at The University of Otago. Currently, I have a private practice providing counselling, psychotherapy and clinical supervision, alongside my work at Columba.

My gorgeous guide dog Oban accompanies me to work. He sleeps on his mat in the office and is highly confidential! He is not averse to a pat at the end of sessions if students feel they need a (dog) fix.
