Year 0-1 and 1-2 exploring Columba College

Mrs J Pollard —

Last week, Miss Eason and Mrs Pollard's class enjoyed their explorations of various areas within the college premises, enjoying the opportunity to interact with several high school educators.

Miss Eason, a former student herself, boasts a deep-rooted connection with Columba College, having spent her formative years within its halls. As we strolled through Braemar, explored the science labs, and admired the art room, she generously shared her own boarding house and school life experiences. Our journey took us to Bishopscourt, where we amazed at the exquisite Staffordshire pottery floor tiles in the entranceway. In the dining room, we learned about the various roles students undertook during Miss Eason's time as a boarder.

To conclude our tour, we were warmly welcomed into the Music room by our talented musical students and the ever-friendly Mrs. Casbolt. What a delightful way to spend a sunny afternoon!
