Columba students selected into Otago Athletics Teams

Lila Rhodes (grade 12) and Charli Sinclair (grade 13) have been selected into the Otago Provincial Athletics team to compete in Palmerston North on the 3rd and 4th of April.  Lila competes for the Hilly City club on a Saturday and enjoys running the 800m and 1500m. Charli competes for the Ariki Club and enjoys 400m, 800m, discus and shot put.  We wish both of these athletes all of the best at this New Zealand competition.

In the junior grades, Columba has three athletes selected for the Otago 7-11 athletics team.  They include Harlow La Hood and Isabella van Aart (grade 10) and Ruby Nicholson (grade 11). Harlow enjoys 100m, 400m, 800m and Long Jump; Ruby enjoys 400m, Hurdles, Discus, Shot Put and 800m and Isabella enjoys Long Jump, High Jump, 200m and 800m. They will compete in Dunedin on the 21st of March against athletes from the South Island.
