Calling all wordsmiths - it is time to get writing and submitting your entries.

There are two sections to the competition - The Cilla McQueen Creative Writing Award for Poetry and The Elspeth Sandys Creative Writing Award for Prose. The competition is named after two prestigious Columba College Old Girls. They are noted New Zealand writers who have won awards for their writing, both nationally and internationally. 

We are delighted that esteemed local writers Michelle Elvy and Vanda Symon will judge the competition. We also acknowledge the support of the University Bookshop in donating book vouchers for the prize-winners.
