Columba recently hosted the Chinese Immersion Day, to promote and share Chinese culture in the local schools’ community.

Maori Hill School, Kaikorai Primary School and Columba College students of Chinese participated in one day of activities related to Chinese language and culture.

We invited five Mandarin Language Assistants in Dunedin, who are Miss Qi Xu, Miss Xiangsong Man, Miss Ziwei Zhang, Miss Yi Wang, Miss Zhengnan to be in charge of five activities on the day, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese chopsticks games, Chinese Taichi fans, Making Chinese knot and Chinese paper folding.

Students all had a wonderful day and enjoyed activities very much.
