Over the last few weeks Ms Togneri's Year 9 English class have been busy working hard on biography/autobiography studies.

Our task was to each read a biography or an autobiography and complete a series of research tasks. It was a great opportunity to broaden the scope of our reading and explore another person’s life that is drastically different from our own. From Malcolm X to Anne Frank there was a large variety of different cultures, stories and characters on show.

To celebrate, at the end of the term the whole class decided to host a biography shared lunch. Everyone bought a dish from their person’s country and dressed up to represent their person or their person’s country. Needless to say, it was a very fun and delicious English period.
