Mardi gras (Shrove Tuesday) celebrations happen worldwide before the fasting period of Lent. The French celebrate this event by feasting on crêpes and special cakes called "galette des rois", as well as with parades and parties.

Students of French at Columba were no exception. This year each year level enjoyed Fat Tuesday in a different way but all got to enjoy delicious French food and have fun.
