Concerns have been raised about the unsafe practice of some people dropping students near Columba College.  In particular, here are concerns about cars parking on yellow lines at the intersection of Oban Street and Tyne Street as well as Garfield Avenue. This is causing congestion and potential danger to students. 

We remind everyone that parking in Oban Street, outside the school, has a limit of 5 minutes so please ensure you only use this as a drop off and pick up area.

We would appreciate it if vehicles did not make U-turns outside the College on Oban Street. It is much safer to continue into Tyne Street and then loop out onto Highgate.

Please do not park on bus stops or over the yellow lines near the pedestrian crossing; this is illegal and creates health and safety issues for the school and the community. It is recommended that you park a little further away from the College and let your child walk to you from school or you walk to meet them.
