Year 9-Year 13 Chinese students have learned “Regular and Running Scripts” Soft-Pen Calligraphy in class.

Soft-pen Calligraphy is widely known as a traditional Chinese form of writing with a brush and ink. It is also called Brush Pen Calligraphy.There are 5 basic script styles in Chinese Soft-pen Calligraphy. Each year, Columba Chinese students participated in the New Zealand Soft-Pen and Hard-Pen Calligraphy competition organised by Confucius Institute.Well done to Year 9-Year 13 Chinese students. All the best for your competition. The winners will be announced at Chinese Prize Giving at Columba College in October.
