Year 8 International students have been busy writing letters to the Otago Daily Times with their views on how Dunedin can be an even better city.

From impassioned pleas about dog waste spoiling Highgate to the dearth of recycling rubbish bins around Columba College and beyond, the Year 8s have been busy and opinionated. Koh Miyamichi (Japan) was thrilled that her eight-paragraph letter outlining the problems besetting Dunedin's bus service was published as she also provided some practical advice on how to fix it.
