Year 6 children have been busy developing their knowledge of African art works with their fabric and fibre collages.

 After observing a variety of art pieces from Tanzania the children looked carefully at how the artists portrayed the people, houses, trees and animals. They then developed their own plan and used Tanzanian fabrics to create these amazing collages. 

The children definitely showed they understood how the people, huts and trees are depicted and they lighten up our room so much during the winter months. It almost feels like we are in Africa!
