Middle and Senior School Cross Country

There was mud, sweat and a few tears but overall another successful full school event completed for the year 2020.

This is what Cross Country is all about!! A winter sport and we certainly know why after facing the elements yesterday afternoon down at Bishopscourt fields. Despite the cold our middle and senior school students took on the challenge, braving the weather conditions in what turned out to be a true cross country styled event. 

A huge thank you to all student marshal's, parental/staff support, P.E teachers and of course the maths department for recording results. Special mention to Ms Lach and Mr Duckett whom ran all 3 races alongside our students. Great encouragement and plenty of spirit was shown throughout!

The following students have expressed interest and will be taking part in the Otago Cross Country being held on the 9th August at Chisholm Park Golf Course. If anyone else would like to be involved please let Miss Turnbull know asap.

Prize-giving for place getters and best dressed will be done in assembly in the coming weeks. Well done to everyone who took part in this annual event, we now look forward to swimming sports towards the end of the term.
