A poem written by Melanie Ansell, student at New Plymouth Girls' High School in 2011.

The poem tells a story of butterflies trapped in a jar.....the last section of the poem reads:

''Jane took the lid off the jar

The butterfly left on a wind

That had come from the sun

Only the wind was free.''

Phoebe Ozanne and Caitlin O'Brien chose this fitting poem to set free their beautiful origami rainbow of butterflies. They fly straight out of the poem which is also pinned to the wall.
