All of the students came well prepared and performed at a high level and thoroughly impressed the judge, Christchurch based teacher Megan Button who has worked as an Opera singer internationally. They competed in a wide range of classes, from sacred songs to musical theatre sections.
I thoroughly encourage anyone interested in singing in all sections of the school to begin lessons and come along, even just to watch. There are several great teachers around the city who will help develop your voice and help you to excel.
Well done to everyone who competed, you all did yourselves proud, and have huge potential.
