Over the last two weeks the junior school has been learning about the Carnival of the animals by composer Camille Saint-Saen.

Carnival of the animals is a 14 movement piece, with each piece based on a different animal. The first piece we listened to was The Royal March of the Lion, this piece is played by the String instruments and a piano. As part of the learning, classes journeyed to the main Music room to have a go at playing the different string instruments, Double Bass, Cello, Viola and Violin.
