Interested in umpiring hockey? Full training provided to support the Columba teams this year!

If playing hockey this season is not for you, have you considered becoming an umpire?  The games cannot go ahead in any sport without officials!

Otago Hockey are providing training courses for new and experienced umpires.  We have two Year 7 and 8 teams, as well as three senior teams (including Year 9 and Social) who need an umpire each week.

You can earn gift vouchers to various retailers and 'hockey dollars' to be spent at the turf for giving up your time.  You will also be eligible for school recognition with your umpire badge.
