Grace Creighton (Year 12) attended the Surf Lifesaving Nationals held at Midway Beach, Gisborne in mid-March 2020.

This may have been the last sporting event as all sports were cancelled throughout New Zealand because of Covid-19 the day after returning to Dunedin.

Over the duration of the competition both the weather and beach conditions were extremely changeable and trying.

Grace's results were:

4th Under 16 Tube Rescue

4th Under 16 Surf Teams Swim Race

8th Under 16 Taplin

13th Under 16 Diamond (swim then board)
