Arts Prefect, Rita Close, tells us about how the photography competition will run during Lockdown.

I bring tidings with great news, for the time of the annual Photography Competition is upon us - and this year, it will be bigger and better than ever. Probably. Really it depends on how many people participate.

For those of you who are oblivious to the grandeur of this event, it is as follows:

For the chance to win Ultimate Bragging Rights, a sense of accomplishment, self-validation, 10 steps of recognition* across the stage at assembly, and other less personal prizes [yet to be determined], simply upload your photos to -This Drive Folder- named using the following format: Category, Name, Photo Entry Number. e.g.[ 12-13, RitaClose, 2] - This year you can enter a maximum of three photos per person.

The Categories are as follows: 

• Years 3-4
• Years 5-6
• Years 7-8
• Years 9-10
• Years 11-13
• Staff

Photos submitted must have been taken this year.

Please don't create your own categories, this is not Lego. Just stick to the box model. You have until the 16th of September, so get out your smartphones, cameras, & brownie boxes, then get creative.
