The Best Market Day Ever : 2020
Mrs S Bishop - November 18, 2020
November is quite a stressful time for all as teachers prepared students for NCEA and the Enterprise girls prepared for junior exams. But finally the day happened much to everyone’s relief.
With high-quality products thanks to the vigilant training and production sessions by the Production Directors, students were keen to get out and sell. No assemblies in Term 3 meant that Marketing Director had to be a bit more innovating and sophisticated than usual. Facebook, Instagram, talks to classes, posters and individual invitations did the job. The Hall seemed very full as students rushed in to buy their products. Some stalls were totally swamped and mostly it was a sell out!! ………..This is a good thing as Finance Directors had plenty to count.
While the lessons in making and selling are important, more important are the skills learnt in getting on with each other ‘to make it happen’. Some Managing Directors had their work cut out getting everyone be resilient, to keep on task, meet commitments, do their share, be reliable and generally reach their goals.
Well done students of Year 10 Economics. We are really proud of your work.
