On Tuesday evening two Year 7 & 8 teams competed in the Classics Quiz held at the University of Otago.

The teams did extremely well with one team placing first and the other, placed third. The winning team - consisting of Clara Ballantyne, Jessica Mundy, Eleanor Wong and Alyssa Duthie named themselves ‘Athena’s Daughters’. The other team’s members were: Tessa Smith, Isabella Cameron, Sophie Canton and Pearl Harris who named themselves ‘Artemis and Minerva’. In addition to a trophy, the girls were presented with a lapel pin depicting a famous Greek to wear on their blazer.
