Brave runners took on bitter conditions and an extremely boggy track in the Otago Cross Country Championships held at Kaikorai Valley College yesterday.

Columba College started with 12 registered to take part in this annual event, however, race day arrived and we had just 3 students take to the start line - a different look from previous years, as 9 students were forced to withdraw due to illness. Nevertheless, our students competed strongly in difficult conditions and really stood up on a tough/hilly course. 

This event completes the 2022 cross country series run by Otago Secondary School Sports Association. Well done to all the students who represented Columba. There were some fantastic results and we are incredibly proud of your efforts.
