Community Committee helps to break down stereotypes and misconceptions about neurodiversity.

During the 13-19th of March Columba College celebrated Neurodiversity week, hoping to educate and inform students about neurodiversity and how the week is a worldwide initiative that challenges stereotypes and misconceptions about neurological differences.

The Columba College Community Committee took the initiative to raise awareness about neurodiversity by sending out daily facts, an announcement at assembly, and educational posters on celebrities with neurodiversity.  Next week we will have a quiz to test students’ learning on neurodiversity and how we can create a better environment for neurodiversity within our school.
