Last weekend the Columba College Athletics team competed in the Otago Secondary Schools Athletics Championships and enjoyed plenty of success over the two days of competition.

Athletes from Year 9 through to Year 13 supported each other and competed against their peers from schools across the region with plenty of success. In among myriad personal bests and numerous creditable place getters, special mention must go to the following athletes who found particular success:

- 1st place, u14 shot put
- 1st place, u14 discus

- 1st place, senior 800m run

Faith Courtney
- 1st place, u16 400m run

- 2nd place, u16 800m run

- 1st place, u14 3000m run

- 1st place, u14 1500m run
