This term, the Year 6 class are enjoying Book Clubs as part of their reading programme.

Students have made groups based on their book selections, and each week the group leads an aspect of the meeting. They rotate through different roles focusing on a range of reading and thinking skills, including making connections, retelling and questioning. 

The Year 6s are doing an impressive job of running their own meetings and are well prepared and organised. We are a class full of happy bookworms!
